Soft Washing & House Washing
Soft Washing & House Washing in Greensboro, NC
Low-pressure treatment that lifts algae, dirt and black streaks without damaging siding, stucco or shingles.
Serving Greensboro, NC and the surrounding Piedmont TriadGentle on the House, Hard on What Grows on It
Not every surface can take pressure. Soft washing applies a cleaning solution at roughly garden-hose pressure, kills the mold, mildew, algae and bacteria at the root, then rinses everything away. It is the correct method for vinyl, stucco, painted surfaces and anything on a roof.
If you are looking at green or black streaks, especially on the side of the house that never gets sun, this is the service you want. It protects the siding, the landscaping and the roof warranty. And because the growth is killed rather than knocked off, the result holds far longer than a blast-and-go.

FAQ
Soft Washing Questions
What customers in Greensboro ask before they book. If yours isn't here, call and ask, or read what other customers say.
What is the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?
Pressure washing cleans with force. Soft washing cleans with chemistry at low pressure. Force is right for concrete and brick; chemistry is right for siding, stucco and roofs.
Will the solution hurt my plants?
Not the way we do it. Beds get watered before we start, anything sensitive gets covered, and everything gets rinsed down afterwards. Plant damage comes from the shortcut version, where nobody wets the beds first.
How long does a soft wash last?
One to two years on most properties, because the growth is killed at the root rather than stripped off the surface. A pressure rinse on the same siding is often green again within a season.
Can you soft wash my roof?
Yes. Black roof streaks are almost always Gloeocapsa magma, an algae, and soft washing is the method the shingle manufacturers themselves recommend. Pressure on shingles strips the mineral granules and voids most warranties.
Do I need to be home?
No, as long as we can reach the exterior and there is an outdoor spigot. We send photos when it is finished.
